CVR member & Chair of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, Dr. Roz Sandri-Goldin was named Chancellor’s Professor by Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor, Dr. Enrique Lavernia.

The title of Chancellor’s Professor is conferred for a five-year renewable term, upon recommendation of the dean, and is used to recognize scholars who have demonstrated unusual academic merit and whose continued promise for scholarly achievement makes them of exceptional value to the university.

Dr. Sandi-Goldin is definitely deserving of this honor and we congratulate her on her continued success!
